Position Summary

The Baker prepares bakery products according to Perkins recipes and quality standards while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment. This role helps ensure excellent food quality, food safety, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and bake bakery items according to company recipes and standards.
Label, date, store, and rotate products using FIFO procedures.
Set up and maintain bakery display cases and merchandising displays.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of bakery equipment, prep areas, storage areas, and displays.
Monitor food quality, portioning, and food safety standards.
Assist with kitchen prep, dishwashing, and supporting front-of-house team members as needed.
Communicate equipment, safety, or product concerns to management.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation requirements.

Qualifications

No experience required; training provided.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
Basic math, reading, and communication skills.

Physical Requirements

Stand and walk for extended periods.
Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Bend, reach, and work in hot and cold environments.
Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Compensation: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
